日本語読解学習支援システム「リーディング・チュウ太(Reading Tutor)」 (http://language.tiu.ac.jp)の開発者。このシステムは静岡大学の北村達也氏との共同研究の成果である。またプログラ ミングに関しては東京大学理学部の保原麗氏からの多大な協力を得ている。

専門・研究テーマは日本語教育、コンピュータを用いた言語教育。現在本務 校東京国際大学の海外研修制度を利用してウィーンに滞在している。研究テーマは 「非漢字圏の日本語教育の実態調査ならびに読解学習教材の開発」滞在期間は2000年 10月から2002年3月まで。この間、ウィーン大学から客員教授として迎えてもらえる ことになり、日本語の授業も担当している。

Yoshiko KAWAMURA is a professor at the School of Business and Commerce, Tokyo International University. She is teaching Japanese as a Second Language, Intercultural Communication and Linguistics at Tokyo International University and Waseda University. She is also a visiting professor at the Institute of East Asian Studies, Universiry of Vienna from 2000 to 2002. Her research interests are in second language aquisition and computer assisted language instruction. She has recently been instrumental in the development of the Japanese Language Reading Tutorial System "Reading Tutor," available through the Internet (http://language.tiu.ac.jp).

TAPPED IN is open to everybody and the presentation will be done in English. Please be warned that the topic is rather Japanese specific and the paper is in Japanese.

How to get to KeikoS' office:
1. Go to http://www.tappedin.org
2. Click the "Guest Login" Button on the TAPPED IN home page
3. Be patient while loading
