In August of 1999, I attended CLEAR Institute, Advanced Internet and created Cyber Map Exercise site. Yabe Masato, then University of North Carolina at Greensboro implemented it in his class in fall semester of 1999 and we presented paper about the site at SEATJ conference in March, 2000. Version II site was assembled in November, 2000. I went through UCLA Extention Teaching Online Certificate. This site is a final project of Developing Curriculum for Online Programs. This version 3 site involves the use of FLASH. In summer of 2001, I was one of the facilitators at Dennie's CLEAR Putting your course online summer institute. I learned more tricks of FLASH and added FLASH version of audio and more animation for giving directions. There are some classes using this site in class and the results will be presented in upcoming conferences in 2002. I hope to incoporate what another CLEAR summer institute (Putting Flash into your course) is going to offer. Stay tuned.
